How do I pay a fine?

Fant Library no longer collects fines for overdue materials!!

If your book is overdue, however, we would like it back. If you do not return the material to us within 60 days of the due date, we will ask for a replacement fee for the cost of the book, and a hold will be placed on your account. You can return the item, or pay the replacement fee at the library in cash.

If the book is from another library (i.e. you placed a hold or borrowed an Interlibrary Loan), you may be subject to their fees and penalties for overdue or lost items. As of Fall 2020, the library is no longer taking money, so we cannot accept your fine on another library's behalf. However, you can visit the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library on 7th St to pay your fine.
