How do I request microform materials? And how do I operate the machine?

Many of our newspapers and several of our archival materials are available in microform. If you are looking for a particular issue or item that our catalog identifies as microfilm, let someone at the information desk know what you are looking for, and they will retrieve that material for you.

Additionally, if you need help operating the microfilm machine (loading, browsing, or scanning material), we can demonstrate this for you as well. Don't hesitate to ask us for help!
