Yes! There are books for primary school aged readers in the Library's juvenile collection, which is downstairs, near reference. It is separate from the Young Adult collection, which is located nearby. Books in the juvenile collection are available for checkout for anyone with an MUW, MSMS, or public library card. To search the juvenile collection, use the link above, or go to the online catalog, and select "MUW Juvenile Collection" from the drop-down menu.
